Mislaid Desires

Some fade, some whisper solemn cries at night, lost dreams, lost hopes, all lost in skies of deep regret, the stars they shine so bright with sighs. Each star a forfeit dream, mislaid desires.
They look upon each one, a mocking thought of all that could have been.  All wishes caught above, so why make wishes on untrue dead dreams?  So do not wish upon a star.
Stars are alone consumed hungers and thirsts; some fade, some whisper solemn cries at night, lost dreams, lost hopes, all lost in skies, remorse. These fantasies are trapped in skies in flight.
